Mobile Sludge De-Watering

Munster Drain Services carry out rapid and efficient on-site dewatering of septic systems, grease traps, interceptors and industrial waste water systems by means of a Simon Moos KSA system truck. This operation is achieved by injection polymer into the sludge as it is being pumped into the dewatering unit. During this operation, polymer amounts are adjusted to achieve the best sludge flocculation possible. As the flocculation occurs the solids draws together and separate from the water. After separation, the water flows through a special filter system. Solids remain inside the container until accumulation required disposal. The water is then re-filled into the tanks, this promotes better functioning of septic systems and avoids wasting valuable freshwater resources.

Munster Drain Services can reduce the amount of sludge to be transported by up to 70%, not along saving money for our clients but saving our environment by composting the cake removed.
